Reviewed tutor profiles
An administrator reviews a tutor's submitted profile before it can be booked, and qualifications, ratings and reviews are visible on it. We do not yet run identity-document or criminal-record checks, so please read profiles carefully and stay involved in a child's sessions.
Age-appropriate content
Courses and tutoring are matched to age and grade level. Younger learners only see content suitable for them, and search filters never surface mature material.
Parental visibility and controls
Parents link to a child account in seconds, monitor progress in real time, set screen-time limits, and approve purchases before checkout completes.
Privacy by design
We minimize the data we collect, never sell personal data, and encrypt information in transit and at rest. You control your data and can export or delete it.
Secure payments
Payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers. Card details never touch our servers, and refunds follow a clear, published policy.
Reporting a concern
You can report a tutor, a session, or a message to us at any time using the reporting form, and we will look into it. Reports go to our support team; we are still building a dedicated safety triage queue with published response times.
Protections that run in the background
Know where your session runs
Tutors choose their own meeting platform, so a session may run on an external service such as Zoom or Meet. Check the link on the tutor's profile before a child joins.
Bookings and messages on record
Bookings and in-platform messages are kept in your account so you can refer back to them. Sessions themselves are not recorded.
Parent-linked accounts
A parent or guardian can link to a child's account, and under-13 learners require verified parental consent before an account is used.
