When a student is enrolled in Skolena, the system auto-generates a unique, single-use invite token. A parent enters this token in the Skolena Family app or web portal, confirms their email address, and the accounts are cryptographically linked. No student credentials are shared with parents.
Administrators control the visibility policy. Options include: live (parents see draft grades immediately), staged (visible after teacher submission), or published-only (visible only after official grade release). The default follows district gradebook policies.
